About Maggie’s Centre Dundee

Maggie’s Centre offers a safe and welcoming space for individuals dealing with cancer. Their compassionate team is always available to provide advice, connect you with others in similar situations, and offer invaluable support during challenging times.

With statistics showing that 1 in 3 people will face cancer in their lifetime—and only 5% of cases being genetic—the work of Maggie’s is more important than ever. As a charity, they rely on financial donations to sustain their services and make a difference in people’s lives.

Our Personal Connection

In October 2020, my wife, Aneta, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to a successful operation and treatments including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Aneta is now doing well.

Maggie’s Centre has been a cornerstone of support throughout this journey, enabling her to connect with others in similar situations and providing a space where she felt comfortable making decisions about her care.

Fundraising Efforts

This partnership isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal. So far, we’ve raised £5,395 through various events, including:

• 50-Mile Challenge (January): A major fitness event to support Maggie’s.
• Virtual Kiltwalk (April): Walking 29 miles over three days through Broughty Ferry and Dundee.

Our efforts were even featured in the Dundee Weekend Telegraph and The Courier, showcasing the incredible community spirit behind these initiatives.
